I live near the sea and have Fresh wall vents. There are often strong winds blowing against the facade, and I experience drafts indoors. What aids are available? There are two types of accessories to reduce the strong winds blowing into the vents. 1. Replace the existing facade grille with a storm cover, tyfon grille, or rain shield. 2. Install a storm-proof with filter case  inside the duct.
What advantages does a wall vent have compared to a window vent? A wall vent has several advantages compared to a window vent. For example, multiple filter options, higher airflow/capacity, better distribution pattern - which reduces drafts in the living area, and most wall vents are also available in a noise-reducing variant.
During the winter when it's several degrees below zero outside, I get condensation and ice formation on my wall vents. What causes this, and what should I do to solve the problem? During winter, when temperatures drop below freezing outdoors, one may experience condensation/ice formation on wall vents. The reason is that warm indoor air condenses against a cold surface. The more humid the air, the less cold the surface needs to be, and more water is deposited. However, this is very uncommon but can be due to several factors. For example, a high humidity load inside the residence (showering with the door open, aquariums, laundry, etc.). Incorrect exhaust airflow can also cause this problem. To avoid condensation/ice formation, the vents must remain open, and the exhaust airflow must function properly.
Today, I have an old vent and would like to replace it with a newer one with a more modern design. What products should I consider? We recommend our sleek disappearing wall vents in the TL DE series. These vents feature a stylish design and are also wallpaper- and paintable. The internal part is easy to replace with existing vents or fixtures. Available in black and white. The TL DE series is also available as a complete vent, with or without noise reduction. The complete vents come standard with condensation protection, storm guard, and telescopic function pipes. The storm guard provides good comfort in the room, reduces the risk of drafts, and contributes to lower heating costs. The airflow distribution is carefully developed; the vent releases air upwards and sideways. The outside air is mixed very efficiently with the room air, which means that within a decimeter from the vent, the incoming air has a pleasant temperature. Another option is our vents in the TL C series, featuring a soft and sleek design. This model is also available as a complete vent, with noise reduction and internal components.
I am going to install wall vents in my villa and wonder if there are any wall vents available in colors other than white on the inside? Our vents in the TL DE series are available in both white and black. Additionally, they are wallpaper- and paintable. We also offer grilles for the facade in many different colors and designs.
How do I change the filter on my F80 vent? To access the filter, you need to remove the cover. This is done by opening the vent, pressing on the cover while simultaneously rotating it counterclockwise. Now, the cover's bayonet attachment has been released, and the filter is accessible. Installation is done in reverse order.
How do I change the filter on my F90 vent? The filter is mounted inside the cover, which is easy to remove. Close the damper by pressing the lever under the cover against the wall. Then, simply pull the cover straight out from the vent.
How do I change the filter on my TL D, TL C and TL98F vent? The filter is mounted inside the cover, which is easy to remove. Simply pull it straight out from the vent.
How often should I replace the filters in my air supply vents? It depends on the filter class and the environment, but to ensure good air quality and maintain airflow, the filter should generally be cleaned/replaced 1-2 times per year. The standard filter is washable; use a mild soap solution. Pollen, environmental, and particle filters should be replaced with new ones. Note that finer filter classes (higher particle separation) require more frequent filter changes and may reduce airflow.
How do I change the filter on my F100 Thermo? To access the filter, the cover must be disassembled. This is done by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Assembly is done in reverse order, screw clockwise until a click is heard. Now the valve is set to its basic position.
I currently have a standard wall valve and wish to eliminate disturbing noises from outside. Can I easily switch to a dB valve? To switch to a dB valve, you need to drill the existing hole in the wall to 125 or 150mm depending on which dB valve you choose. This is because the sound reduction in dB valves is in the passage, which has a larger diameter than standard plastic modular pipes. Please take a look at the dB valve TL80DE-dBs.
I need fresh air but I am allergic to pollen, what do I do? For all our models of wall vents, pollen filters are available as accessories, for people with allergic symptoms. If you are seeking an environmental filter with an even higher separation efficiency, we recommend our Flimmer filter. The filter fits our TL-C and TL-DE models and effectively filters out nearly 100 percent of all pollen particles and has a long lifespan. Note that Flimmer and pollen filters cannot be cleaned; they must be replaced as needed.
