Description/use Removeable duct fan of axial model with straight air flow-through. Because the fan chassis can be removed, it is easy to clean the inside of the duct. The fan is designed for supply or exhaust air ventilation and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. NB: The fan must not be used as a flue gas fan or in an explosive environment. The incoming air must not exceed a temperature of +40°C. Installation The fan can be installed in the duct horizontally or vertically. Screw the fan into a wooden joist or another suitable structure. A minimum duct length of about 1 m before the fan (i.e. on the “suction side”) is recommended. With vertical installation, it is also important for the duct opening to be equipped with a grille or the like to prevent loose particles and water from entering the fan motor. Connect a duct on one or both sides depending on use. Make sure that it is stably mounted. Maintenance The fan should be cleaned a few times a year for optimal operation. Before cleaning, power to the fan must be cut off. Cleaning is facilitated by undoing the two clamps on one side of the fan. The fan can then be cleaned with a damp cloth or the like. Warranty The fan has a five-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Any warranty claim is made at the site of purchase. Environment and recycling The product is labelled with the WEEE symbol, indicating it must not be disposed of in household waste and must instead by recycled at a suitable recycling centre in the respective municipality.
