Where can I find the PIN code for my Norte? | The PIN code is located on the right leg of the motor part. You detach the motor part by pulling it straight towards you. |
The app is not connecting to my Norte (iOS). | 1. Turn off the fan using the switch on the left side (downward/counterclockwise). 2. Disconnect the motor head and note down the PIN code located on the circuit board on one of the motor legs. (If there is no code there, your fan is not a Norte but a Sirocco or Levante) 3. Reattach the motor head. 4. Turn the fan back on using the switch on the left side (upward/clockwise). 5. Delete the Pax App. 6. Update to the latest iOS on your phone (if you haven't already). 7. Re-download the Pax App. 8. Then, ensure that the Pax App has access to "Bluetooth." This can be done in the phone's settings (Settings -> Scroll down -> Pax App). 9. Next, check that Bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that you are within range. 10. Open the Pax app and press the "+" symbol. 11. Choose Norte and enter the PIN code (8 digits). 12. Answer "no" to the following questions. (Answer "yes" to the second question if you wish to use the fan as a heat mover). 13. Press "Finish." 14. Enter a name of your choice, e.g., bathroom, laundry room. 15. Press "Done." |
The app is not able to connect to my Norte (Android). | 1. Turn off the fan using the switch on the left side (downward/counterclockwise). 2. It can also be done as follows: Long press on the Pax App -> App Info -> Permissions. 10. Next, check that Bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that you are within range. 11. Open the Pax app and press the "+" symbol. 12. Choose Calima and enter the PIN code (8 digits). 13. Enter a name of your choice, e.g., bathroom, laundry room. 14. Answer "no" to the following questions. (Answer "yes" to the second question if you wish to use the fan as a heat mover). 15. Press "Finish." |
I have just installed a Norte and there is power, but the fan is not starting. | Check that the built-in power switch on the left side is in the on position (upward/clockwise). |
My Norte has stopped and is glowing red. | If it's glowing red, it needs to be resynchronized with the app/phone (likely due to a power outage, and the fan doesn't know what time it is, so it can't follow the set program). |

Try resetting it through the app. Press the cogwheel icon and then select 'Reset this product.' |
My Norte isn't starting after cleaning. | Make sure you've turned on the power switch on the left side again (should be upward/clockwise). |
